Question: How long are sessions?

Therapy sessions are 45-50 minutes in length. The first appointment will be an assessment session where you can decide if I am a good fit as your counselor.  Please note that I do my best to ensure your privacy by having a 15 minute gap between sessions.

Mediation sessions are 60 minutes in length and are always attended by both parties. I will work hard to keep the discussion on track during our time together to ensure that we are completing the agreement as timely and as thorough as possible.

Question: How can I pay for my sessions/meetings?

I accept cash, check or credit card payments as well as Husky, Anthem and Cigna insurance. If you have a different insurance provider, I will gladly provide a statement of payment for your insurance company for "out of network" reimbursement.  I will consider a sliding scale for those who require it.

Question: What can I expect from therapy?

Therapy is a collaborate process. We will work to identify your areas of concern and to define measurable goals to reach during our time together. You may be asked to complete a task or an assignment outside of our time that will assist you toward achieving these goals. At all times, I will work to ensure your dignity is upheld and your privacy is protected.

Question: What can I expect from mediation?

Mediation sessions will involve the couple and I discussing a fair and equitable division of your marital assets. The discussions will result in a prepared document that the couple will present in court indicating they have addressed each area and they agree to the decisions therein.
